I know I probably have no right to say that considering I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but honestly this week was exhausting. I can’t wait to just lounge around all weekend. I’m excited to have extra time to cook and workout some more. And maybe do some homework…
For some reason, I got hit with another bought of insomnia last night and didn’t manage to fall asleep until about 4:30am! I wish I could’ve slept in late this morning, but I had to roll out of bed at 9:30 to get to my physical therapy appointment. After physical therapy, I popped by the grocery store and then dropped my car off at the garage to get a new mirror.
These are all my groceries for this weekend/this coming week. Here’s what I got:
- Romaine lettuce
- 2 Cucumbers
- Baby carrots
- Cherry tomatoes
- Red grapes
- Shredded mozzarella
- Feta cheese
- Chavrie goat cheese
- Pomegranate green tea
- Fat-free evaporated milk
- Ground turkey
- 6 Frozen Green Giant Veggie Steamers

I bought this green tea on a whim. I’ve tried green tea before, but I was kind of on the same page as Peanut Butter Fingers when she said that she thinks green tea tastes like dirty water. I remembered her saying that she liked flavored green tea better, so I wanted to try it out. Unfortunately, it was way more blueberry tasting with barely any pomegranate and I’m not a huge fan of blueberries. Oh well!
I also picked up Spicy Shrimp Roll sushi for lunch! I can’t even tell you how much I’m in love with sushi lately. It’s so delicious and so healthy. You can’t go wrong with that!
