Procrastinating

by MirandaMowbray on June 25, 2012

Guess what?!

… I FINALLY got a haircut today!!

I’ve been dying to get one for ages (and so were my split ends!) and finally got around to getting it done today. I’d been procrastinating on it because, since I moved into the new apartment with Brent, I haven’t been able to go see my regular hairdresser who I’m really close to and have been seeing for four years (plus, she gives me a great price!). I didn’t feel like the 25 minute trip there-and-back was worth it, even though I love her so much.

While out grocery shopping today, I passed by a SuperCuts and thought “Why not??” I didn’t need anything super fancy done, so I felt fine trusting “the cheap place” with my hair. Plus, the girl who did it had curly hair (never trust a straight-haired hairdresser to cut curly hair!! ;) ), so I was sold.

I love it! (P.S. My wonky left eye is out in full force today… I must be tired!)

She cut about four inches off! And I needed it bad. Apparently the bottom inch and a half was completely dead… whoops!

Speaking of procrastination… I would not get out of bed today to get my grocery shopping done. Normally I can’t wait to go grocery shopping – it’s my favorite thing to do! But I was super tired from the lightning incident this morning, so all I wanted to do was lay around in bed and nap.

Eventually I picked myself up around 2pm and headed over to the stores. You’ll be happy to hear that I actually stayed within budget this week! No more weeks like last week, please :(

I feel so much better now!!
