21st Birthday & Graduation Party

by MirandaMowbray on January 15, 2013

So, this happened forever ago, but I completely spaced out on telling you guys about my awesome 21st birthday/college graduation party!

I really wanted to have an amazing party, since I was celebrating these two huge milestones at the very same time. I’d also been incredibly stressed out throughout that whole last semester, so I was really excited to finally be able to relax and have a great time with my family and friends.

(**Heads up, there’s gonna be a lot of pictures!)

The delicious birthday cake! It was my favorite — yellow with chocolate sugar frosting — from Wright’s Dairy Farm.

I had an AMAZING time! It was the best night I’d had in a really, really long time. I even danced… for hours! (I’m sorry, but how can you not dance to Katy Perry???).

I definitely paid hard for it (read about my disability here) later that night and the whole next couple of days, but I’m so glad that I didn’t let it bother me at all while I was having fun (maybe it had a little something to do with the four vodka cranberry’s I drank….? ;) ) and that I was able to dance as much as I wanted to.

It was also really nice to be able to see all of my family and friends in one place. There were a few people there that I hadn’t seen in a long time, so I was so happy that they were able to make it! Having everybody there to celebrate and have fun with me was… indescribably awesome.

looks like a really fun time!! I can’t believe you’re only 21! Since I’ve been reading your blog I assumed you were 24-25. you must be very mature! :)

Haha, everybody says that! I started school when I was four years old (I think my mom just wanted me out of the house ;) ), so it’s always been like this. And I think people think I’m older because I graduated from college already, have a full-time job, and have a serious boyfriend that I live with. But it’s always flattering when people say I’m mature for my age :) Thanks for the compliment!

I loved this dress too! Are you kidding me?? I’m obsessed with anything that’s pink and sparkly, haha.

How fun! What a great way to celebrate. Combined parties are twice the fun, anyway! :) That cake looks awesome though. Of course ;)
