Shopping List Friday #12

Shaw’s Shopping List:

  • Special K
  • Sargento shredded cheese
  • Ground beef

Stop & Shop Shopping List:

  • Potato hamburger buns
  • Sliced provolone
  • Cholula Chili Garlic hot sauce (one of my favorites)
  • Frozen butternut squash
  • Kiwis
  • Avocado
  • Tortilla chips
  • Pepperoni
  • Refried beans
  • Trop 50 (I absolutely love Trop 50!)
  • Cinnabon-flavored coffee creamer (you have no idea how excited about this I am!)
  • Canned chilis
  • Enchilada sauce
  • Pinto beans
  • Leeks
  • Bananas
  • Blood oranges (I can’t even remember if I’ve ever had one of these before, but after buying them this week I can’t get enough! I think I may have had three today…)
  • Frozen kale

Walmart Shopping List:

  • Pretzels
  • Generic-brand frosted mini wheats
  • Disinfecting wipes (I’m using these to disinfect my phone case daily. Don’t want to get that flu that’s going around!)
  • Act mouthwash
  • Slotted spoon
  • Bath towel
  • Spearmint gum
  • Strainer (I’ve been wanting an extra one forever! I use mine all the time.)

  1. Consume at least 100g of protein. Check! I got 110.1g of protein yesterday.
  2. Consume at least 20g of fiber. Check! I had 30g of fiber.
  3. Get at least 4 servings of fruits/veggies. Check! I got 5 servings! I must’ve been those oranges ;)  
  4. Drink at least 100 oz. of water. Check! 
  5. No more than one treat/dessert. Check! I had four Dove Chocolate & Peanut Butter promises (so addicting!).
  6. Do stretches/leg exercises. Check!

Yeah, that’s why I love shopping there! Definitely good for a person on a budget like me :)

What a great idea! I might do some grocery shopping today – I’m all out of almond milk (!!) I’d love to do the link up sometime! Everything looks great! Good for you for keeping that flu at bay! Have a good weekend :)

how is that stop & shop butternut squash?! my mom and i totally miss it but do NOT want to put the work into doing it from scratch aka chopping up a big fat squash!

It’s not bad! You can only really do things with it that involve mashing or or making it into a sauce, though. Like roasting it would be out of the question, haha. It’s just that the pieces are tiny and they get mushy easily. But we use it ALL THE TIME. At least once every two weeks I make something with butternut squash in it. It’s one of the vegetables both me and my boyfriend can agree on, haha ;)
