Shopping List Friday #17

Happy Friday! I don’t know about you, but I’ve been pretty beat lately. A week after moving in, we still have a lot of stuff to get done around the house. And, along with a ton of painting and unpacking, obviously some major shopping needed to get done this week…

#1: Stop & Shop

Potatoes
Pineapple (got this from the reduced-price bin… score!)
Frozen kale
Shredded parmesan cheese
Ribs (Ahhhhhh, I’ve never cooked ribs before and I’m so excited!)
Sandwich buns
Ground turkey
BBQ sauce
Whole wheat bread
Summer’s Eve products (got these on a crazy sale)
Ben & Jerry’s frozen yogurt (is there anything better in this whole entire world?)

#2: Shaw’s

1% milk
Eggs
Green bell pepper
Cucumber
Spinach
Deli bologna (for Brent’s lunch sandwiches)
Onions
Chicken thighs (for a recipe I’m making this week)
Red bell pepper
Strawberries ($1.88 each!)

#3: Walmart

Comforter, sheets, and pillowcases for our new bed
Paper towel holder
Command hooks (to hang my goat calendar above my office area)
Hand towel holder for the master bathroom
Suave hand lotion on sale (I always pick up cheap lotion whenever I see it — I use it like a hair product to tame my super freaking curly hair)
Aussie sprunch hairspray & Herbal Essences spray gel (Molly from This Life is Sparkling posted about her love for these products for her curly hair, so of course I had to try them out!)
New toaster oven! (Our toaster died last week, so I had to shell out $30 for a new one — not like I have any other expenses I have to worry about right now! )
Under-the-bed storage bin to hold linens (there isn’t a linen closet downstairs, unfortunately, so we had to create our own)
Frame for my diploma (I just got it last week!!)

#4: Amazon

Silverware organizer (our old apartment came with one, so we didn’t have one to use at the new place)
Nightlights (there aren’t any streetlights or anything on our street, so when it’s dark out… it’s DARK out. These are really gonna help for those middle-of-the-night trips to the bathroom!)
Garbage disposal (I love this thing!!!)
